This opportunity is ideal for an equity research / strategy consulting professional who has 3+ years of experience and is interested in working with top tier investment banking clients


Responsibilities:

The role would involve:

- Supporting the equity research arm of a global investment bank client to develop insightful understanding of investment target and its industry, including critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments, and risk identification through in-depth primary and secondary research
- Building detailed financial models across various sectors
- Creating equity research notes and presentations that include analysis of economic and business cycles, industry value chain, market size, market segments, market shares, market drivers, market trends, products and services
- Benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters to understand industry growth and profitability
- Performing financial analyses including market sizing, investment return, DCF, trading/transaction comparables
- Coordinating with sales team on client pitches and relationship maintenance
- Team and project management, including team training
- Conducting quality check on work delivered by junior analysts


Qualifications:

- Native Chinese speaker
- Prior 3+ years of rich experience in equity research, investment banking, or strategic consulting in China； have a good understanding of Chinese market and enthusiastic about serving top tier investment banking and/or private banking clients
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under time-sensitive environment
- Be able to take responsibility

；； Experienced in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
；； Excellent academic track record
